(24"x36") $1000 – Though as a child I swam in the canals of our community we never really encountered an alligator in the water. We were told they were more afraid of us than we were of them. I have had plenty of opportunity to watch this seemingly “lumbering” dinosaur in action. They are fast and powerful. And they terrify me. To do this painting my psyche made him friendly. Apparently, that was the only way I was able to do it. I held a contest to name him and think the name “Beastie Boy” fits.
